Morgan E. Helgreen helps clients navigate a variety of family law matters, including divorce, dissolution of marriage, custody matters, prenuptial agreements, and post-decree issues involving child and spousal support. Her experience includes tracing separate property claims, negotiating complex custody disputes, and establishing and enforcing support. Best Lawyers® recognized Morgan as “One to Watch” in 2023.

Prior to joining Zashin Law, Morgan worked at another Cleveland family law firm that she joined as a clerk while in law school. Morgan has also served as a Guardian ad Litem in the Cuyahoga County Domestic Relations Court and is a certified mediator. Morgan graduated from the Case Western Reserve University School of Law, where she received the prestigious Robert I. Zashin Family Law Achievement Prize, which recognizes students “who demonstrate outstanding performance in advanced domestic relations or in the field of family law.” Morgan also received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Family Law and served as an editor of both the Case Western Reserve Law Review and the Canada-United States Law Journal. Prior to law school, Morgan graduated Cum Laude from Texas Christian University where she double majored in strategic communications and political science.

Morgan served as the co-chair of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association’s Family Law Section from 2020–2022. Morgan also regularly serves as a volunteer with the CMBA’s 3R’s: Rights, Responsibilities, and Realities program, the Legal Aid Society of Cleveland’s Pro Se Divorce Clinic, and as a judge for the Ohio Center for Law-Related Education’s High School Mock Trial Program. Outside of the office, Morgan enjoys reading, traveling and cheering on her beloved TCU Horned Frogs.
