Biography
Cory McClain joined Zashin Law in 2025. He is a native Cincinnatian and came to northeast Ohio to attend law school. During law school, Cory worked at Zashin Law as a law clerk learning about every aspect of family law.
Prior to law school, Cory spent six years teaching elementary school students. During that time, he witnessed the impact family challenges have on children and developed a passion for helping individuals navigate difficult times with empathy and understanding. That experience has shaped his patient, compassionate approach to resolving some of the most personal and complex issues his clients face.
Cory earned his law degree from the University of Akron School of Law and focuses his practice on family law, including divorce, dissolution, and post-decree support matters. Outside the office, Cory enjoys spending time with his wife and two children and following all kinds of sports.
